PIG OUT IN THE PARK

PIG OUT IN THE PARK

Today was the City Of Edmond’s “Pig Out In The Park”
Every year the managers in the city have a cookout for all city employees.

The smell of the hotdogs, hamburgers and hot links was overwhelming.

We were one of the first to arrive. The food was ready to be served. Matt Stillwell is serving the meat and beans.
The city employees are enjoying their dinner and the company.
The smoker/cooker is full of hotdogs, hamburger meat and hotlinks.
There is so much meat in the cooker that the men have to continually put new in, turning it or taking the meat out.
The smell from the cooker was great. I had already eaten one hamburger and a hot link and it was making me hungry again.
By this time there was a line forming. A little later there was a long line.
Buddy Hatchel was playing a game of bat the ball. Plastic balls and apparently they were very hard to hit.
Swing and a miss but his style was good.
John Meadows was the pitcher. The score keeper was at the table.
Apparently John Meadows is a good pitcher because Buddy struck out and did not score.
John Meadows taking his turn at bat.
Swing and a miss. No score for John Meadows.
Strike Three and you are out. No Score.
Buddy 0
John 0

Buddy Hatchel pitching to John Meadows. They are better pitchers than batters.
It looks like he was trying to throw a curve ball. Strike three and Buddy strikes John out.
It is time for us to go back to work. Maybe we can play more next year. Pig Out in the Park is a fun time for everyone.
